I received an email today suggestion the book should go to print between May 8, 2006 and Sept. 8, 2006.

Talk about feeling foolish. I thought the ISBN was assigned by the federal copyright office of the U.S. Government. I've been anxiously waiting for months for them to send me my ISBN. It was only recently through the PublishAmerica writers forum that I found out it is assigned by the publisher when the contract is signed. And, all you have to do is E-mail them and ask for it.
For anybody who's interested, the ISBN for Our Life In HIS Hands is: 1-4241-2326-7.

I got my proofs back from the editor today. I now have two weeks to review and send in any corrections. After that things may start moving pretty fast. I'm getting excited again.

Received e-mail today from PublishAmerica offering to publish my second book. Originally the book was titled "Abandoned," but I was asked to change the name because someone else had a similar title. So, now I'm looking at "Forsaken."

Finally settled on a new name for book two. It will be called "Thirty-Seven Cents and a Prayer".

Have signed the contract and filled out the author questionnaire. I am now waiting for PA to request my editing option. There is a lot of waiting in this.
